Daily Tasks/Shared Living
Assistance with Daily Life (includes Supported Independent Living): Support services to assist participants with their daily tasks and promote independent living.
Host Family Agreement
For participants with high support needs, an agreement can be made to stay with a host family. The host family will have minimum qualifications and provide in-home support for the agreed time. The quote will reflect the required hours of assistance and the length of the stay.
Shared Living Support
Daily living support is provided in a shared living arrangement, with a rate paid per hour for one-to-one assistance, divided among the number of people supported.
Skill Development in Daily Life
Assistance with and/or supervision of daily life tasks to help individuals with complex support needs develop the skills necessary to live as autonomously as possible.
Integrated Support for Short Stays
Comprehensive support that covers self-care, accommodation, meals, and activities within a center or group residence for short periods. This includes all expenses for a 24-hour period, with no additional loading, and can be used for up to 14 consecutive days, after which weekly rates apply.
Additional Support during Short Term Accommodation (STA)
When a participant requires 1:1 assistance with self-care activities in addition to STA support. This may include scenarios where the STA support is at a 1:1 rate but requires more than one support worker, or where STA is not at a 1:1 rate but the participant needs individualized care for a period of time.
Maintaining Individual Living Option (ILO)
Assistance to help a participant maintain an Individual Living Option (ILO) co-residency transitional arrangement or an ILO host family transitional arrangement. Specialized support is provided to ensure smooth transitions and continued independent living.
